What do you need?
1 pack of Shortbread cookies
7 tablespoons of butter (melted)
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup butter (room temperature)
condensed milk (397 g)
1 bar of dark chocolate
1 bar of white chocolate
(vanilla) ice cream
1- Crumble the shortbread biscuits into small grains, then mix with the 7 tablespoons of melted butter.
2- Put the mixture in a baking tin. Then divide this on the bottom and press it flat. Then let it cool down in the refrigerator.
3- Take the brown sugar and put it in a saucepan along with the unsalted butter
and condensed milk.
You then cook this to caramel on a low setting! Don’t forget to keep stirring, otherwise it will burn !!
4- Now pour the caramel sauce over the biscuit base and let it cool for 1 hour in the fridge. Or half an hour in the freezer.
5- Now take the dark chocolate and let it melt on a low setting with 1 tablespoon of butter.
6- When the chocolate is ready and the caramel has hardened, you can now pour the dark chocolate over it. Let this cool and harden.
7- Melt white chocolate with 1 tablespoon of butter <The white chocolate is for serving. Sprinkle some white chocolate sauce here and there. Grab a skewer and make figures in it. (For a nice effect)!
8- Place a scoop of (vanilla) ice cream next to a piece of millionaire’s shortbread
Sprinkle chocolate sauce on top for garnish.
